What is included in a subscription plan?
Subscribing to Ember gives you 24/7 access to all on-demand videos throughout the studio, with the exception of the individually priced programs. You'll also get access to all new video uploads as the library expands weekly. The postpartum program (Yourself First) is a one-time purchase item and is not included in the subscription content, but purchasing the postpartum program gives you access to that content for life!
What do I need for class?
All you need for class is your body and a yoga mat. Many classes are bodyweight only, but to maximize your experience I recommend having the following:
Light dumbbell set (1-3lbs)
Heavier dumbbell or kettlebell (8-12lbs)
Resistance bands, hand towels or pillow cases for gliding mechanisms
Yoga block or rolled up towel
Can I cancel any time?
Of course. Once you cancel, you will have access to the platform until your existing cycle expires. You can re-subscribe at any time!
Are these classes like physical therapy?
While Emma is a sports chiropractor and rehab professional, and these classes are built on the same principles used in physical therapy, Ember is not an individualized exercise / rehabilitation plan and should not be used in place of those therapies. It is, however, a wonderful edition to bridge the gap between your rehab and your fitness classes!
Are subscriptions refundable?
Subscription purchases are non-refundable, but you will have access to the full platform throughout the remainder of your current billing cycle once cancelled.
How often should I do the classes?
You should feel free to incorporate whatever routines work best for you. Ideally we’d all have 2-3 days of strength based training per week, so feel free to supplement any current training routine however you’d like. The “best” kind of exercise is the one that you will do consistently and safely, that isn’t causing your body any pain. This is a completely personal choice!
What type of exercise is on this platform?
Ember is an extension of what I teach to my patients as a sports & perinatal chiropractor, and what I have learned in my many years of doing functional movement & fitness. There are hints of lifting techniques, Pilates flows, and restorative yoga movements - but overall it is a low-impact functional strength platform, made up of all the things you “should” be doing at home for your body!
Are the workouts pre & post natal friendly?
There is an entire category for prenatal & postpartum classes, as well as a postpartum exercise rehabilitation program available for individual purchase! Monthly recurring - 32/ month
Six month access - 185 / 6 months
Annual membership - 360 / year
